Introducing Dwayne Johnson’s god-like antihero Black Adam to the Worlds of DC – a playground for Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman – the upcoming blockbuster sets him on a collision course with the never-before-seen Justice Society.
“I think it’s a really interesting set-up to see the Justice Society have to come together in order to kind of try and stop Black Adam.
“There is a little bit of that in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because of Scarlet Witch, but I just think it’s such an interesting call to action to see the Justice Society have to assemble – they haven’t been together in a while, and they have to try and apprehend one of the most powerful superheroes in the world,” said Flynn.
As he alluded to, Multiverse of Madness is dominated by an ongoing battle against Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, who’ll stop at nothing to reunite with her sons Billy and Tommy.
She even obliterates a squad of surprise heroes known as The Illuminati in her quest.
Will they come out on top? Prepare for plenty of Rock Bottoms.
Black Adam flies into cinemas on Friday, October 21.
