Update 1 (July 28)

IST 10:30 am: As per a recent report from Twitter, some Hulu users are still facing the issue where programs rewind when playing them after pausing for some time. Also, the issue is still being investigated by Hulu. More details on the matter here.

IST 10:35 am: A Hulu user has pointed out that random episodes from the TV series, Survivor, are missing on the platform. While Hulu support has said that the Survivor episodes are missing due to clearance issues, they have also shared the user feedback with the relevant parties.

IST 10:40 am: It seems Hulu users are not quite satisfied with the My Stuff section as it does not notify them about the new episodes and watched/unwatched count. On the other hand, Hulu support has said that they are investigating similar reports on the matter.

Update 2 (July 29)

IST 03:28 pm: Hulu support has confirmed that they’re aware of the bug or issue with Fire TV Sticks which causes them to constantly lose connection or buffer. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA for a fix.

Update 3 (July 30)

IST 12:28 pm: A section of Hulu users are facing issues with the service including NBC channels going blank after a few seconds (1,2), and “My Stuff” disappearing. Both issues have since been acknowledged.

Update 4 (August 03)

IST 03:57 pm: Hulu support has confirmed that it’s working to resolve the inconsistent volume issues on the platform. The team also suggested a couple of temporary workarounds for the meantime.

We’re looking into this and working to resolve it. In the meantime, we recommend trying with night mode or volume leveling enabled (if the device offers either of those features). (Source)

Update 5 (August 05)

IST 01:51 pm: A section of Hulu users are reporting that the service has stopped recording their watch history. The company says it has received similar reports and is looking into it.

Update 6 (August 12)

IST 05:48 pm: Hulu support has confirmed that they are aware of the issue where the 9th episode from Season 1 of Helstrom is missing. The team says that they’re investigating the problem and hope it will be cleared soon.

Update 7 (August 13)

IST 12:48 pm: Hulu now says it is aware of a bug afflicting its users trying to catch Fox-affiliated channels and getting ‘Channel is temporarily unavailable’ error message. These users are advice to reboot their setups to fix this issue.

Our team was made aware of the behavior occurring on some local FOX affiliates. Our developers have since put changes in place to mitigate the interruption. Please reboot your device to start streaming, and let us know if you run into any further trouble.

Update 8 (August 16)

IST 06:15 pm: As per several reports, the live TV recording is not working for Hulu Live subscribers but the issue is already being looked into. However, there is no ETA for a fix.

@hulu_support the DVR didn’t record the @NASCAR race today, it recorded the practice sessions 😩 this is the only thing I pay you for – record races.

Update 9 (August 17)

IST 04:29 pm: Hulu support confirmed that the developers have made some changes to help fix the issue with Fox channels being unavailable.

Update 10 (August 19)

IST 09:40 am: Reports now indicate that Hulu is yet to address the English dub issue that has been afflicting the Naruto Shippuden series for years now and there doesn’t seem to be a fix in sight. More on that in our coverage here.

IST 10:56 am: Reports from Hulu users indicate that the Hulu app keeps crashing on Roku. This issue is reportedly under investigation.

IST 11:04 am: Hulu users are also facing an issue with their My Stuff queue, many noting that it doesn’t notify them of available new episodes. This too is under investigation.

IST 11:21 am: Hulu has acknowledged the issue afflicting Amazon stick users where the service constantly buffers. More on that here.

IST 11:45 am: Hulu also says it is looking into the issue where Episode 2 of Fantasy Island is not available to watch yet it was recently aired. More on that here.

Update 11 (August 23)

IST 11:40 am: A section of Hulu users report that they’re getting stuck in a loop when trying to log into their Hulu accounts. Now, Hulu says they have received similar reports and are currently looking into it. However, no ETA has been shared.

Apart from that, Hulu has also confirmed that they’re looking into a bug that skips the remaining 8 – 10 minutes of a show and goes to the next episode automatically.

Update 12 (August 24)

IST 2:13 pm: Well, months later and still, Hulu users on Roku are still facing issues with the app as it reportedly can’t open.

Hulu app on my Roku continues to close. Can’t open it at all. At times I can click on which profile I’m using then it just takes me back to home Roku screen. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Reset Roku several times too

IST 5:26 pm: Hulu has confirmed it’s investigating the issue where the app loading sound is way too loud. Head here to know more.

Update 13 (August 26)

IST 1:32 pm: In response to two issues reported by Hulu users on Twitter (1,2), the company’s Support handle notes that they’re investigating the said behaviors.

These issues include one that causes users watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Firestick to have the session stop randomly and freeze up the whole stick. The other issue causes subscribers watching on the MacBook to have the mouse pointer remain persistently on the screen and not disappear.

Update 14 (August 27)

IST 10:02 am: Users of Hulu are reportedly facing an issue with Fox News Channel as a section of them are reporting that the stream pauses every few seconds and going into a black screen. This, despite affected users having sufficient bandwidth to stream, said content.

In response, Hulu Support says that they’re looking into similar reports. ‘

Update 15 (August 30)

IST 02:02 pm: A section of Hulu users (1,2,3,4) now report that they are unable to watch the Brown Game. In response, Hulu Support says they are aware of the behavior and are working with partners to get it resolved.

Update 16 (August 31)

IST 10:12 am: Hulu users on the Apple TV are now complaining about the missing ‘completed lines’ under the episodes’ thumbnails following a recent update to the app. Hulu Support says they’re investigating similar reports.

Update 17 (September 01)

IST 10:12 am: Hulu support has confirmed (1, 2) that they are aware of issues where the tenth episode from Season 5 of the Superstore stops mid-way and where the first episode of Only Murders in the Building does not work.

Update 18 (September 02)

IST 05:55 pm: Hulu support confirmed that they’re working to get the last episode from Season 3 of Bless the Harts uploaded on the platform soon.

Further, the team also confirmed that they’re actively working to fix an issue where the user gets an error saying ‘We’re having trouble playing this’.

Update 19 (September 04)

IST 05:44 pm: Hulu support has confirmed that they are aware of a bug that is preventing some users from watching episode 5 of Nine Perfect Strangers.

Update 20 (September 06)

IST 11:52 am: Hulu Support has acknowledged the Firestick issue where the Hulu app won’t pause and the only way to fix it is to restart the whole setup. On this, Hulu says they’re looking into it.

Another issue reported by subscribers from Hotstar has to do with the delay in daily episodes for sitcoms, episodes that should be dropping at the same time as those in India. On this, Hulu says that they don’t guarantee episodes by a particular time.

01:25 pm (IST): Hulu users continue to face the issue where Unwatched badges are displayed improperly. Now, the company has come out to note that they’re working on it. However, they may not provide any ETA for a fix.

03:20 pm (IST): As per multiple reports, subscribers are unable to pause content while streaming via the Hulu app on Amazon Fire TV devices but the issue is being looked into. More details and temporary workaround here.

10:21 am (IST): Hulu has acknowledged an issue afflicting users, something that causes DVR recordings not to work as users aren’t able to record games.

Update 24 (September 14)

14:03 pm (IST): Hulu has acknowledged a few bugs and issues afflicting its users including one that causes a Rununk13 error for users on iOS, another that results in Hulu live subscribers not being able to watch Jeopardy on ABC.

Also acknowledged is a bug that causes Hulu to play the same trailer over and over.

03:00 pm (IST): Hulu has refreshed the app UI and moved the ‘Keep Watching’ list to the bottom of the home page. However, if you are running Hulu on an Android device, we have a workaround you might be interested in.

Update 25 (September 17)

10:03 am (IST): Hulu has acknowledged an issue that causes the latest episode of Archer to glitch out right before opening.

Update 28 (September 18)

05:10 pm (IST): Hulu support has confirmed that they are aware of the issue where select Hotstar content on the platform may not be properly displaying English subtitles. A fix for the issue is in the pipeline, however, there’s no ETA.

Update 29 (September 20)

10:14 am (IST): Hulu has acknowledged an issue where users aren’t able to finish watching Only Murder in the Building Episode 3 as it freezes halfway.

The company adds that this behavior is under investigation.

Also acknowledged is an issue on WGCL (CBS) that leaves users with a notification that the channel is temporarily unavailable, meaning they couldn’t catch the Steelers’ pre-game.

02:07 pm (IST): Many Vizio users are facing issues with the Hulu app as it keeps throwing a ‘Connection Disconnected’ error. Head here for the full story.

Update 30 (September 28)

11:32 am (IST): Now, Hulu users are reporting issues with the Browns Game feed on Spectrum internet. Hulu says it is aware of this behavior and are investigating.

Update 31 (September 29)

1:15 pm (IST): Hulu has acknowledged an issue where the platform has been glitching and showing only one season of Bobs Burgers.

6:00 pm (IST): The bugs don’t seem to stop popping up. Earlier today a flurry of user reports suggested that many were facing an issue with the sound not working in the Hulu app.

Hulu, however, is yet to acknowledge the problem.

Update 32 (October 1)

7:20 pm (IST): Hulu has acknowledged an issue that is causing multiple TV shows to have no audio. More on that here.

Update 33 (October 4)

4:00 pm (IST): Hulu users are complaining that they are repeatedly seeing the Beyonce & Jay-Z ad for Tiffany & Co.

Hulu has acknowledged the issue and said that they are working on a fix. More on that here.

Update 34 (October 11)

11:00 am (IST): Hulu users are now reporting facing an issue that causes their CBS local stations to show they’re ‘temporarily unavailable’.

This issue has since been brought to the attention of Hulu and the company says they’re working on it.

Update 35 (October 15)

10:36 am (IST): A section of Hulu are facing an issue where Hulu keeps freezing or their screen darkens after every ad on Xbox, Fire TV, and other devices.

IST 11:32 am: Users of Hulu on the PS5 are reportedly facing an issue that throws up error code P-DEV320.

This is currently being looked into, at least according to Hulu Support.

IST 11:58 am: Hulu users now report that Episode 2 of Dopesick is missing from their Hulu. This has since been acknowledged.

Update 36 (October 16)

IST 06:40 pm: Hulu Support acknowledged an issue where subscribers can’t watch Wutang show on PS5. Moreover, the support team stated that they are currently working to resolve this bug. However, no ETA has been provided.

Update 37 (October 18)

IST 12:12 pm: Hulu has acknowledged an issue facing a number of its subscribers that causes NASCAR on NBC to display a ‘sorry, not available’ message.

IST 1:43 pm: Hulu Support has also confirmed that they’re looking into the issue causing its users to face the ‘Sorry, this channel is temporarily unavailable’ error.

Update 38 (October 22)

IST 12:32 pm: Hulu has acknowledged an issue that causes error P-DEV320 or ‘We’re having trouble playing this’, noting that a fix is in the works. More on that in our coverage here.

IST 12:54 pm: Also acknowledged by Hulu is the issue where Back to the Future 2 and 3 are mislabeled. Hulu says they’re working to fix this as well.

Update 39 (October 23)

IST 09:36 am: Hulu acknowledged an issue where users are not able to watch a recording from Fox Pittsburgh and get an error message that says ‘This channel is unavailable’.

This bug is currently under investigation, however, no ETA has been provided as yet.

Update 40 (October 25)

IST 03:00 pm: Many users are now reporting that they are seeing static when they tried tuning into NBC Sunday Night Football broadcast. Hulu has acknowledged the issue but there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Update 41 (October 26)

IST 12:09 pm: Hulu users now report that subtitles on the platform don’t seem to be working.

Hulu has since come out to issue a possible workaround, along with an official acknowledgement.

IST 1:16 pm: Now, Hulu says it is looking into sound issue that are affecting NBC’s The Voice show on the platform. More on that in our coverage here.

Update 42 (October 30)

IST 07:20 pm: Some users are reporting issues where they can’t watch the Dallas Stars game and Golden Knight broadcast on Roku. Hulu acknowledged the issue and said that it is currently under investigation.

IST: 07:25 pm: Hulu acknowledged the issue where broadcast freezes on Fox channels. This issue is currently under investigation.

IST: 07:30 pm: A user complained about an issue on the Hulu TV app where if you have a sub and dub version of a show. And when you try to watch subversion first, the audio and video don’t show. Hulu support has acknowledged the issue.

Update 43 (November 03)

IST 10:20 am: A section of Hulu users on Roku (1,2) now note that whenever they try to watch live content on Roku, they’re kicked out to the main menu.

This has since been acknowledged by Hulu, noting that they working to push out a fix update soon.

IST 05:13 pm: Hulu support has confirmed that they’re working to resolve a couple of issues (1, 2) which include the bug that prevents users from viewing ESPN and a bug with the World Series which results in the app freezing up.

Update 44 (November 05)

IST 04:34 pm: Hulu has confirmed that it’s aware of the log-in or connectivity issues on HBO Max with the iOS app. Head here to know more.

Update 45 (November 09)

IST 12:48 pm: A section of Hulu users are reporting that various feeds appear zoomed in and ends up cropping part of the picture.

This has been reported on channels like WTAE-TV Pittsburgh and has since been acknowledged.

Update 46 (November 10)

IST 11:00 am: A section of Hulu users now report that they are unable to log into their accounts on both the app and web. This as they’re met with an ‘invalid request error message’.

This issue has since been acknowledged.

Update 47 (November 13)

IST 12:20 pm: Hulu Support acknowledges the issue where season 4 of 9-1-1 TV series is missing. They are currently investigating it, however, no ETA for a fix has been provided.

IST 01:43 pm: Some users have reported that they are unable to watch Modern Family TV series. Hulu Support has acknowledged the issue and said that they are currently investigating it.

Update 48 (November 15)

IST 11:51 pm: Hulu says it is not any closer to fixing the bug that affects deleting shows from the cloud DVR as there’s not ETA. As such, users are unable to clear space on their DVR.

Update 49 (November 18)

IST 12:21 pm: A section of Hulu users report that they now have way too many FOX Channels on their Hulu Live.

This has been acknowledged and Hulu adds that they’re investigating.

Update 50 (November 19)

IST 10:26 am: A section of Hulu users on Roku now report that they’re facing an issue that causes regular shows to have a low volume but ads play at loud volume.

This issue, Hulu says, is being looked into.

IST 11:01 am: A section of Hulu users now report that My Hero Academia seems to disappear randomly. Hulu says they’re looking into it.

Update 51 (November 22)

IST 12:08 pm: New reports (1,2,3) now have it Roku users are facing a bug that causes the screen to go black or very dim after Hulu advertisement. This has since been acknowledged.

Update 52 (November 29)

IST 05:54 pm: Previously, some users were unable to access Season 4 of 9-1-1, but it seems that all 5 Seasons should now be available as confirmed by a user who was facing the issue earlier.

IST 06:15 pm: Responding to a user’s complaint regarding the subtitles disappearing after an ad break, Hulu support confirmed that they are aware of the problem and the team is looking into it.

Update 54 (December 01)

IST 1:32 pm: Hulu has acknowledged an issue where users are unable to skip through ads in DVR’d content. This, they say, has been fowarded to the investigating team.

IST 2:01 pm: Tesla Model Y users are reporting issues with the Hulu app on their cars. Hulu has been noted asking for more info from affected users.

IST 2:13 pm: Hulu has also acknowledged an issue where the player skips to the next episode prematurely. This is being looked into.

Update 55 (December 02)

IST 12:00 pm: LG TV owners who use Hulu are reporting that the app is crashing for them after the latest update. Others say that they are unable to view the video on NBC and FOX with the audio working just fine.

Update 56 (December 03)

IST 12:25 pm: A section of Hulu users have been reportedly facing issues with the Echo show. Hulu has since come out to acknowledge this.

IST 10:04 am: Hulu acknowledged the issue where some users are having bug in listing of some shows. Moreover, the support team is aware of this glitch and working on a fix.

@hulu_support Not certain if others are having this issue. Today, when watching WLWT NBC, it claims Modern Family is on, when it’s Ellen instead. Add to that, Modern Family aired on ABC, rather than NBC. Seems a bug in the listings. (Source)

IST 11:00 am: Some users are reporting high audio output during commercials when watching some TV shows. Hulu is already aware of this glitch and is working on a fix.

IST 11:08 pm: Hulu support has provided a workaround for high audio output glitch during commercials that users can try until devs fix it.

Update 59 (December 16)

IST 11:06 am: Hulu has acknowledged an issue where some users are complaining that season 2 of Demon Slayer is not available. The team is working on a fix, however, no ETA has been provided.

Update 60 (December 23)

IST 10:31 am: New reports from Hulu users indicate that the Bachelorette finale isn’t up yet. This, Hulu Support says, is being looked into.

IST 12:22 pm: Many Hulu users report that ‘My stuff’ and ‘Continue Watching’ content is suddenly disappearing.

IST 09:52 am: A section of Hulu subscribers (1,2) are rather upset that the newest episode of General Hospital isn’t up yet. This, Hulu Support says, is a known issue but they don’t have an ETA.

Update 62 (December 25)

IST 01:42 pm: Hulu acknowledged the issue where the screen stays dim when the next episode of the series starts. The support team provided some troubleshooting steps to overcome this issue.

Update 63 (December 27)

IST 01:35 pm: Not too long after the issue of a buggy Hulu app on the Tesla Model Y was acknowledged, now Hulu Support notes that they’re currently investigating.

Update 64 (December 30)

IST 06:30 pm: The issue where season 2 of Demon Slayer was missing now has a workaround.

It turned out that season 2 wasn’t missing, instead, it’s named something else due to which users couldn’t find it. Moreover, one of the affected users said that it was available on Funimation.

Update 65 (January 03, 2022)

IST 04:30 pm: Hulu acknowledged the issue where some channels only have sound without any pictures on Hulu Live. The team is currently investigating this bug, however, no ETA for a fix has been provided.

IST 05:00 pm: Some users have reported that they are unable to stream CBS. Hulu has acknowledged this bug and said that they are currently working on it. However, they did not provide any ETA for fix.

Update 66 (January 04, 2022)

IST 10:28 am: Hulu Support has come out to acknowledge an issue that causes Hulu users to face black screen with sound (no video, only audio) in their setups.

IST 10:12 am: Hulu now reports that they are working to bring the latest episodes of WWE to its users, an issue that is frustrating many subscribers.

IST 12:27 pm: Hulu has acknowledged an issue where sound isn’t working on WKYC on their local NBC affiliates.

Update 68 (January 10, 2022)

IST 10:58 am: Some users are bothered by the error on KTVB channel that says ‘Sorry, this channel is temporarily unavailable’.

Fortunately, Hulu support has acknowledged the issue and said that they are currently working on a fix. However, no ETA for a fix has been provided.

Update 69 (January 11, 2022)

IST 11:30 am: Hulu users are now reporting that the brightness automatically dims whenever they move from one episode to the next. More on that here.

IST 02:22 pm: Hulu app users on Tesla cars are unable to enjoy the service due to the error message P-DEV302 or P-DEV313 that does not allow them to play content.

Also, the problem has been around for many months. Hulu developers just keep saying they are aware of the problem and working on a fix, but there is no ETA for it.

Update 70 (January 12, 2022)

09:28 am (IST): Hulu acknowledged the issue where CBS is showing the wrong show guide and said that they are investigating this issue. However, no ETA for a fix has been provided.

Update 71 (January 17, 2022)

09:41 am (IST): Several users are now reporting (1, 2, 3) that they are unable to watch Kansas City Steelers vs Pittsburgh Steelers game on NBC. Hulu acknowledged the issue and said that they are working on a fix.

Update 72 (January 19, 2022)

03:25 pm (IST): Hulu has acknowledged the issue where some users are facing audio issues This Is the US. Moreover, they are working on resolve the issue, however, they did not provide any ETA for a fix.

Update 73 (January 24, 2022)

09:51 am (IST):Hulu users are unable to play or load Episode 3 of Attack on Titan Season 4 (Part 2) which is premiering in the last few hours.

Apparently, the show gets stuck after the first round of ads. The Hulu team is already aware, but it is not known when users will be able to load the show normally.

12:30 pm (IST): Hulu subscribers are now reporting that Adult Swim is not working for them. Although a fix is seemingly underway, it is still not known how long it will take.

Update 74 (January 25, 2022)

12:35 pm (IST): A section of users is now reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) a grey overlay issue when streaming videos that appears when a new episode starts or sometimes after an advertisement.
