Just as most — if not all — good things often have beginnings and endings, our favorite TV shows inevitably always come to an end — it’s sad, but they always do. 

After several years of filming and dominating the TV screens, fans’ favorites like “This is Us,” “Better Call Saul” and “The United States of Al” finally came to an end in 2022, and many others too. 

Goodbyes are sad but as sad as they are, they are quite inevitable. This article is a guide to the TV shows in their final season and the ones that already ended in 2022.

Here’s a quick highlight of 10 TV shows currently in their final seasons.

“The Walking Dead”

Back in April, AMC announced that the third installment of “The Walking Dead” season three would be the last fans see of the series which made its debut on October 31, 2011. Although the producers have promised that the storyline will have a few spin-offs which will include many of your fans’ favorite characters such as Carol (Melissa McBride), Daryl (Norman Reedus), and Maggie (Lauren Cohan), among others.

“The Walking Dead” Final Season: The End of an Era

The third installment kicked off on October 2, 2022, and is currently streaming weekly on AMC. The finale is expected to air on November 20.

“Dead to Me”

The third and final season of the Netflix Black comedy “Dead to Me” premieres on November 17. The tragicomedy was renewed in July 2020 but production was delayed by the pandemic and Applegate’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021. However, the final season is here at last and the TV show is a wrap.

“Atlanta”

Season four of Donald Glover’s FX series “Atlanta” premiered on September 15, 2020 with two episodes. The last installment is scheduled to run till November 10, 2022 when the characters bid their goodbyes. 

New episodes of “Atlanta” streams every Thursday on FX.

“Queen Sugar”

The final season of “Queen Sugar” kicked off on September 6 2022 on Oprah Winfrey Network. The drama series which already has a total 12 award nominations and two NAACP Image Awards runs through till October 2022. The date of the finale is yet to be announced. “His Dark Materials”

Fantasy drama “His Dark Materials” returns to HBO on December 5 at 9/11 P.M. ET/PT. for its third and final season. The new season will air two episodes weekly and will run through till December 26, 2022 and it’s a wrap.
