Chris Bassett isn’t happy about the accusations he’s been targeted with.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard Bassett is furious about the accusations that have been made about Chris Bassett during the current season. Gizelle Bryant accused Chris of making her feel uncomfortable. She alleged that talking to him alone in her dressing room at the reunion was just bad optics. However, she only made the claims after Ashley Darby’s comments. Ashley said that Chris replied to her Instagram Story. At the time, she had just posted about partying with friends. Chris replied to tell her she should have partied at the hotel he works. Regardless of the innocence behind Chris’ response, Ashley felt Chris’ actions were weird. She later accused Chris of getting flirty with one of her friends.
Mia Thornton also accused Chris of staring at her at Karen Huger’s Spring Bling event. However, producers flashbacked to Chris paying Mia no attention whatsoever. So many of the fans have been dragging Ashley, Mia, and Gizelle for their accusations about Chris on social media.
Candiace truly feels like Chris is being lied on because Gizelle and others are desperate for a storyline. As for Chris, he’s hurt by the accusations. Not only did he try to push Candiace to forgive Ashley and build a friendship, but he also thought that Gizelle was a friend to him and Candiace. So he feels betrayed.
He recently addressed all of the drama on Instagram Live. And he told his supporters that Gizelle’s treatment of him is most likely due to trauma from her failed marriage. He also explained why he has no plans to sue.
