Zeus Network hasn’t been a drama-free transition for Tommie Lee.
Tommie Lee walked away from “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” years ago. However, her transition to Zeus Network has kept her in the headlines. It started with her appearance on “The Conversation.” She agreed to film a sitdown with Akbar V. Akbar gained notoriety as an upcoming rapper as well as being Kandi Burruss‘ cousin. Before Akbar made her first appearance on LHHATL, she got into an altercation with Tommie in a recording studio. So they haven’t been on good terms for years. To no surprise, their appearance on “The Conversation” didn’t change much. And they still have bad blood.
Well, Tommie may be adding to her feuds since agreeing to appear on, as well as be an Executive Producer on Zeus’ “Baddies West.”
As we reported, Tommie’s brief encounter with Stunna Girl at the auditions resulted in Stunna attacking Tommie at the cast photo shoot. Stunna accused Tommie of throwing a drink at her and trying to run up from behind while she was getting into it with Sukihana.
Tommie denied trying to sneak Stunna. However, she feels as if that is exactly what Stunna did to her at the photo shoot. So the two women haven’t been able to move past the issue.
Kandi Burruss and Tiny Harris discussed Natalie Nunn and Tommie Lee’s boxing match.
Interestingly enough, Tommie also agreed to a boxing match against Natalie Nunn recently. Natalie was declared the winner. And Tommie wasted no time letting people know that she’s not ashamed of how things unfolded. She’s even down to a rematch if the check is right.
Recently, Kandi addressed Tommie and Natalie’s boxing match while promoting “SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.” She and Tiny Harris gave their opinions on the match while Tamika Scott looked on.
During an interview with 93. 5 KDAY’s Cecilia Valencia, Kandi asked, “Natalie won. Did you know that Natalie was going to win?”
Kandi and Tiny said they knew that Natalie would win the fight. They felt like Natalie’s size was going to automatically give her the edge.
And Kandi also said that Natalie took it seriously, “She was taking it seriously. That’s what I like.” After Cecilia interjects that they had to take it seriously because they were in a boxing match, Kandi clarified her stance.
“No, what I’m saying is when they were doing all their interviews, Tommie kept like trying to get her in the headlock and stuff. She wasn’t even really trying to fight back or anything. I like how she said I’m saving it for the ring. I’ma put it on your ***.
Tommie Lee responded to Kandi Burruss.
Tiny then said that she thought the fight was staged. Kandi disagreed, “Well, those clips online of Tommie laying down, I don’t think that was set up.” Kandi added, “No, ’cause Tommie would never let herself get hit like that.”
Cecilia responds that Tommie “has hands,” and Kandi responded, “It don’t matter. We see Natalie got hands now too.”
Kandi then summed it up, “I think the thing about it is a lot of people don’t realize when you’re in a fight or whatever, it takes a lot of wind out of you. You gotta prepare. People be breathing all hard thinking they gon do something. You thought it was gon be much easier. But when you’re in that ring, for minutes at a time, she got the wind knocked out of her.”
Tommie responded. She wrote, “Lmao when was I off my feet show me pls or when they gave me water I sprayed on the floor lol and blogs do what they do best show me when ah B**** knocked the wind outta me y’all gotta stop 😂 😂 and @kandi I wouldn’t dare go on anyones show and the interview is supposed to be about me and they bring up another B**** I’d sing ah note so quick but that’s just me 🤷🏽♀️ anyway.”
