Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a sequel to the 2018 film. It is the thirtieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The first solo film about T’Challa grossed $1.347 billion at the box office against a budget of $210 million, and won three Oscars – for best costumes, best soundtrack and best production design.
The new film tells the story of Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje squad (including Florence Kasumba).
After T’Challa’s death, they fight to protect their nation from superpower interference. But while the people of Wakanda strive to start life anew, the characters must unite and pave a new path for the kingdom. Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) will help them in this.
The film was directed by Ryan Coogler, who also shot the first Black Panther film.
